Justice notes from Luke 16

You can read Luke 16 here.

Parable of the Shrewd Manager

v. 9 – Believers who use worldly resources to benefit others will be welcomed to an eternal home.

v.15 – Much of daily life is consumed with working for what the world honors, instead of what God values.

Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus

v.29 – The Old Testament by itself is sufficient warning that self-centered disregard for the poor is evil.

v.31 – The captivity of possessions is terribly powerful.
